Terms of Use
These terms are the rules for using AI Swap Meet (the "site"), which is run by LCP Solutions LLC ("we", "us"). By using the site, posting a listing, or sending a message, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. We are a venue, not a seller
AI Swap Meet is a place where people list car parts, cars, bounties and shop services, and find each other. We do not own, inspect, buy, sell, ship or hold any item listed here. Every sale is a deal made directly between the buyer and the seller. We are not a party to that deal, we are not an auctioneer, broker or dealer, and we do not act as anyone's agent.
We take no payments. We do not process, hold or guarantee money for any sale or bounty. Any bounty or reward is a promise between the person who posted it and the person who finds the part. Pay and get paid the way you and the other person agree.
2. No warranty
The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available." We don't promise that any listing is accurate, legal, safe, still available, or that a part fits your car. Fitment notes, casting-number decoding, "fits my garage" matches, price guides, AI cover art and AI matching are helpful guesses, not guarantees. Always check part numbers and condition yourself before you buy.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
3. Your account and your email
You can post with just an email confirmation, or create a free account that signs you in with one-time email links (no password). Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Your display name must not impersonate anyone or be offensive. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; you can delete your account anytime from My account.
To post, you give us an email address and confirm it by clicking a link we send. You must be at least 18 years old to post or sell. Give us a real email you control, and keep your listings truthful. We never show your email address publicly. Buyers contact you through our message form, which emails you their message; if you reply, they will see your email address.
4. Listing rules
- Only list things you own or have the right to sell, located in the United States.
- Describe the item honestly, including condition, flaws, part numbers and whether it is original, NOS or reproduction.
- Use your own photos, or photos you have permission to use.
- Post a real price (or $0 for "make an offer" on parts). No bait-and-switch, no fake listings, no duplicate spam.
- Remove or mark your listing when it sells (email us and we will take it down).
- For cars: you must have a clear title in your name, or clearly say if the car is sold without a title, as a parts car, or with any lien.
5. Prohibited items and conduct
You may not list, request or promote:
- Stolen parts or vehicles, or anything with a removed, altered or swapped VIN or serial number.
- Recalled airbags or airbag inflators, and any item under an active safety recall that can't legally be resold.
- Emissions "defeat devices" or delete kits, or anything sold to tamper with emissions controls on road vehicles.
- Odometer rollback tools or services, fake titles, or title "washing."
- Catalytic converters unless you are legally allowed to sell them in your state (many states require records).
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, drugs, alcohol or tobacco, hazardous materials that can't be shipped legally, counterfeit or knock-off branded goods passed off as genuine.
- Anything illegal where you or the buyer live.
You also may not: scam or attempt to scam anyone (including fake checks, overpayment schemes, "shipping agent" or "escrow" tricks, or asking for gift cards or wire transfers); harass, threaten or discriminate; post hateful or adult content; scrape or copy the site; send spam through our message form; or try to break, overload or get around our security, spam checks or rate limits.
We use automatic checks for spam, scams and bad language. Flagged posts wait for a person to review. We can edit, hold, remove or refuse any listing or message, and block anyone, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice.
6. Staying safe
Meet in a public place, bring a friend, inspect before you pay, and never wire money, pay with gift cards or crypto, or share verification codes. If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. Report suspicious listings with the 🚩 Report link.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, copy, resize, display and share your listing text and photos on the site and in our emails, newsletters and social posts promoting the site and your listing, for as long as the listing is up (plus a short time to clear backups). You are responsible for what you post.
8. AI features
Some pictures on the site are AI-generated "cover art," clearly labeled, and are not photos of the actual car. AI matching and suggestions can be wrong. Rely on the seller's real photos and description.
9. Links, eBay and affiliate disclosure
Some links take you to other sites (like Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace or eBay). We don't control those sites. Some eBay links are affiliate links through the eBay Partner Network. If you buy after clicking one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never affects which listings we show or how we rank them. Sponsored placements are always labeled "Sponsored."
10. Emails and text messages
We send emails you ask for: confirmation links, messages from buyers or sellers, alerts and (if you sign up) our newsletter. Marketing emails include our mailing address and a way to unsubscribe, and we honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act.
Text alerts are optional and only sent if you give express written consent on our sign-up form. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. We follow the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and carrier rules.
11. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, LCP Solutions LLC and its owners, employees and partners won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, or for any dispute, loss or injury from a deal between users. If we are found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to the greater of $100 or what you paid us in the past 12 months (which, for free use, is $0).
12. You protect us
If someone makes a claim against us because of your listing, your deal, your content or your breaking these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses, including legal fees.
13. Disputes
Disputes between buyers and sellers are between them. For disputes with us, please email us first and we will try to fix it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, and any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Middlesex County, New Jersey, unless the law requires otherwise.
14. Copyright complaints
If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the item's link, your work, your contact information and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized. We'll take it down promptly if appropriate.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for big changes we'll post a notice on the site. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
